What is Iboga?
Iboga is a shrub native to the equatorial rainforests of central West Africa. It has vibrant green leaves with clusters of flowers that produce a light orange oval-shaped fruit. The magic and psycho-spiritual properties of this plant come from the root bark, which is scraped and ground into a powder form.
Iboga seeds are spread by migrating elephants throughout central West Africa. Though it grows wild, it’s also farmed by native people.
Why we use Iboga?
Tabernanthe Iboga is a master healer and teacher. It holds the twin spirits of both male and female energy. We use this plant medicine to promote physical and psychological healing as well as spiritual discovery.
Iboga may help awaken your true self and gently guide you to your innate wisdom. It takes you on a journey deep inside yourself on a cellular level. Here you may identify the source of your pain, trauma, addictions, limiting beliefs, and toxic patterns so that you may accept them and ultimately release them.
